Is there any demand at all for mines? I never see minefields any more.

Just wondering if any of you sold them.

The only demand I have for mines is what my guild requires. I make them for free as a service for the guild but I also stock some on my grenade vendor. I will sell about 1 crate of mines per 100 crates of grenades I guess, and even than it may mostly be to guildies who quickly need to restock the minefields becuase our bases are under attack and no one with admin rights to the PA hall is on (where the mine stash is). I'd say dont bother with mines, use the resources for more grenades unless your making them as a special order.

Mines can actually be really good.

A minefield with... wait for it... sliced AND poweruped mines can take out a character in ONE HIT!!!

And they TEF coverts sumthing luverly.

But people have a tendancy to look down on these most humble of weapons and say they are nor worth the bother of slicing and powerupping.

They are only ever worth it when sliced and powerupped.

Ona similar note... does anyone ever make grenade powerups? 30% max damage on a grenade can easily equal an extra thousand.

I do on Intrepid. I make 31.825% Max Damage / 15% Wound chanceand 31.825% Attack Speed / 15% Wound chance Grenade powerups.

On your question...

Yeah, I make powerups. 33.16%Max Damamge powerups. I sell them right along with my C12 grenades. The grenades do seem to sell much faster than the powerups though I think they are definately worth it (I have 2 of my own toons using them for FS XP).
