Thread: Best way to experiment?
I'll try it, but if you click on the title of the date column, it reverse sorts (supposedly)the list of messages and, theoretically, the most recent occurrence should be the very first entry (but it's not, the 8/24 message is).
But I'll take a look since you can never guess as to what those geniuses over at Lithium are gonna do. I mean, who in their right mind would hide the search function at the very bottom of the page?
Ya very good question.. DO you do it one box at a time? or do you do it in two boxes at a time? or do you gung ho it and max out a bar and press experiment?
My preference is doing it two boxes at a time.

Don't reverse it. Just go to the end. I know, I know...
I prefer the one at a time method myself, but I've done the 3's thing and my results haven't gotten any worse.
I've tried one-at-a-time and all-at-once (or at least as many as possible at a time), and the results have come out the same either way. I prefer the all-at-once method because it keeps the complexity lower and reduces the odds that you'll get a less-than-great success in the process.

I'm starting to make my first few runs at producing a good schematic (ABPH), and I have a few really noob questions.
Is it possible to reach the maximum possible damage for the item without getting all amazings? That is, could my maximum possible damage be limited by my resources, regardless of whether I get all amazings?
Or does everyone keep producing schematics over and over until you get all amazings?
I know this is a very broad question but how long do you continue to experiment on schematics before accepting whatever you've come up with? I ask because I spent 15 minutes my first night trying to make a good schematic for ABPH. I got something that looks respectable compared to the others I see posted here (19-39 -.38) with one 5 point amazing and the rest great successes.
I then went and bought very high end crafting tools and spent 30 minutes at a private crafting station in a city with a research facility. But try as I might, I could not beat the one I had made the night before with crappy tools.Do higher quality tools allow you to reach a higher maximum experimentation for the item, or just increase the chances that you reach the maximum on fewer schematic attempts?
