The grinding macros are looked down upon by some because they allow the player to subvert the system to various degrees. Obviously, role players have the biggest issue with them because they're not into grinding to the top as fast as they can like your average power gamer is. Personally, I don't have a problem with them - especially the crafting macros. They don't allow you to level up without being there, they just speed up the process and eliminate a little bit of the clicking.

The entertainer macros are a bit more infamous because you don't even need to be at your computer to continuously level. I've also heard of some AFK macros for grinding combat xp. Stay away from that one in particular as it tends to upset some people.

To answer the original question, look in the Penultimate Guide stickied to the top of the Weaponsmith forum. It's a great guide and it includes a handy macro.

I don't like AFK macroing but I am using a macro to grind weaponsmith right now. Grinding WS is different. You have to actually be at the computer to do it, there is no AFK macroing. I don't see the difference in using this macro to speed up my grinding process and actually clicking all the buttons. Once again, this isn't a macro that will allow you to start it, go to bed, then wake up in the morning with a ton of XP. You have to be there to select the resources.
