Please disregard, certain weaponsmiths on this forum don't really like to answer the questions presented just like to hand out information they want people to know.

I sell DL44's with comparable stats at 5750. They sell, because well republic blaster accuracy modifiers suck and damage per second is not the only thing you can look at in every situation.

Thanks for the imput mate, Being a retired master pistoleer/BH ? many other things, I have a nice grasp what is need and wanted in the field.

This was my 1st attempt at a factory run on these and was wonder how they stood stat wise with the rest of the veteran master weaponsmiths.

I feel your reply has helped me a bit in determining a reasonable value on such goods.

As far as the other reply...... you may want to try you weapons out sometime in the field

with advanced scout blasters averaging around 77-150 (sometimes 152) Damage; 1.9 (sometimes 1.8)Speed; 11-23-11 on my server from the top-weaponsmiths

they are by far inferior to a weapon compaired at 1.8 speed max damage higher for a minor cost in ham

So Id guess these DL44's are on pair at the very least with an ugly looking treky-fan scout blaster as far as DPS is concerned.

As far as republic blasters are concerned.........can one really get an accrate DPS from a weapon that misses so much and is so unreliable in the heat of battle?

I cant wait to add some scopes to my next batch of DL44's

Nice weapon. I only make DL44s as my entry level pistol. For all the reasons listed above. I'll actually only make scouts by speical order for an inflated price. DPS is at best only a partial answer since it doesnt really matter how fast you can miss with a scout at 20m

Getting loud for the silent majority.

Bugged +0 @ 64m means they have far better accuracy at long range than any other pistol, which is basically the only time accuracy matters since you don't miss often in PVE and if you're shooting at close range in PVP you're probably about to be knocked down, set on fire, etc.

Don'tbother, scouts have higher DPS and lower HAM, and republic blasters have better DPS and light armor piercing.

Thats only at 64m, not 65 not 63, etc

How often do you see a player stay a perfect 64m in PvE?

and they are slower

As a former pistoleer and current smuggler, I prefer the FWG5 (though I have to admit mine are prenerf) and the Republic Blaster as my primary weapons (I also carry a Striker and a Tangle for special occasions).

As a weaponsmith,my DL44s (either variant) or Scouts almost never sell. Republic Blasters sell the best, by far.

Accuracy drops off linearly between the listed values. If a hypothetical gun has -60 at 64m and +0 at 16m, it would have -20 at 32m, -40 at 48m, etc. Anything with the bugged +0 at 64m will be much more accurate at ranges past ideal than any non-bugged weapon.

Just made two of these custom for a customer last night. They wanted them for use
and RP. Both were made with +40 -.4 krayt and one had had a looted barrel that
was 9-5 -1.78!

One pistol was greats across the board (with the barrel) and ended up at something
like .8 55-244. The other was star crossed, 2 moderates on the power handler, 2 more
on the gun itself. It ended up around 1.4 50-230 (I think).

She wanted specific looking scopes too, made them by hand.

The second weapon really was star-crossed though...it ended up with a speed slice.

I enjoy making things like that. Could the components have been better used
in other weapons? Probably, but it was exactly what the customer wanted, and it was
actually fun.

I like to make these entirely by hand because the scope and barrel will show up. Many people by them just for that reason. I only charge 5000 for them. They sell well.
