Thread: How do you calculate effective (real) accuracy?

We both have a skill accuray and weapon accuracy? What is their relation and how is the possibility to succesfully hit a target calculated?

There are a ridiculous number of factors involved so it's not really possible to calculate a useful value.
Accuracy is affected by: range, attacker and target posture and movement, attacker accuracy bonuses (+weapon accuracy, +accuracy while standing/moving), target passive defenses (ranged/melee), target active defenses (dodge/counterattack/block), attacker and target status effects (tumbling, stun, intimidate, cover, etc), special move accuracy modifiers (some moves are more likely to hit than others), and probably a bunch of other ones that I don't remember.
There used to be a big sticky thread in marksman forum where some guy did a whole bunch of tests on this but it's not stickied any more.
