Thread: What can you use acklay bones in?

Can you use them in everything that takes a reinforcement core? (2h axe, gaffi, stun baton, power hammer, uh, vibro axe?) or are there certain things that the bones want work in? I'm trying to straighten out a rumor.

Acklay is not an enhancement like krayt tissue.
Acklay is a replacement to the reinforment core, like Rancor Tooth to sword core

So it can be used in the full variety of things a reinforcement core could be used in, like power hammers, gaffis, stun batons... It's not bugged or anything?

nope, no bugs.
....well one bug, but that was a helpfull bug so the devs squashed in the record breaking time of 48 hours. As apposed to a game crippling bug which on average takes them 2-3 months to notice, another month to discuss it, and then a final 2 months to fix it.
This would actauly be funny if it wasn't a true story
btw, how are the stats?

i looted one with stats somewhere around min 70 max 160... hows that one look?

The 'base' stats on Acklay Bones these days are 65 min, 65 max so anything above that is quite good.
Even the 65/65 in most weapons makes them superior to anything you could make otherwise.
