I am a CH/BE. As I get closer to mastering these professions, I will end up having to give back either surveying or pistol skills. I may end up having to go back to CDEF pistols, so I was thinking about having them hopped up a little. I know nothing about how slicing works.

1. Is there a possibility of a complete failure, destroying the weapon, so I should bring more than one at a time to the smuggler?

2. What is a reasonable amout to expect to pay for this service?

1. If you fail the weapon does not get destroyed, you simply cant slice it again.

2. On Bria i see a 100c per 1% increase or a flat fee of between 1k-3k.

I slice with 100% success because I use molecular clamps. Also,exactly what getsincreased cannot be controlled. You will either get an attack speed increase or a damage range increase (meaning the min and max damage both go up) and the % is fairly random although it can be raised more consistent with a higher skill slicer and better materials. Some slicers claim consistent 30-40% slices.

Ive about had it with double/triple weapon slicing.

Its been around since beta, can they fix it already?

Im really tired of people trying to compare weapons to these bogus sliced weapons...let alone having to explain to people they can slice a unsliced weapon...and usually if its base stats are better it will turn out better...duh!

BUT, this double/triple slice crap is still around. I thought they fixed it but I had a slicer do it right in front of me !

Makes me want to stop playing again for 6 moths until they fix this crap.

Well, now im a Fighter...i gave up crafting due to the sillyness.

Argh, Another one that does it...now i know two slicers that do it!

You can easily spot them by the min damage and ham cost on rifles. Ppl are getting banned for them and weapons taken away. I do agree they need to fix this soon.
