The price? You should through a bone or two the smiths way.

If not, I'd charge you what I would charge if I supplied the bone. BTW, unless you've been collecting the "best of the best" resources from day 1 there is no chance that you'll be providign something better for the final combine than what the smith has in his stash.

no offense guys but get serious. these things are more than difficult for me to get my hands on.and quite frankly im sick of a.s. and w.s. inflating prices because 15 year old kids that have nothing better to do than make millions of credits and pay outrageous prices for items. so no.

anyway i only have one. unlike most people in the game i share loot with those that im grouped with.

if anyone is serious about quoting me a price, feel free.

No offense but become a weaponsmith yourself before mouthing off. Being a weaponsmith means that I often get requests such as yours, I take up the offer if there is something in it for me OR because ther person is a known good customer or perhaps very curteous.

Insulting Weaponsmiths is a poor way to go about getting someone to do something for you - particularly as you inmply you will only pay a token amount. How about not wasting any more weaponsmiths time.

Don't knock it before you try it. You do all the work it takes to make some of the best weapons in the galaxy you play on and then you go sell them for the low prices you currently want. Yes you will sell a lot of weapons, but no you won't be in business long because we are just balancing costs here. And who you calling fifteen, for all I know you are a snide little 13 year old.

Heh. If I were a weaponsmith, and I saw the post in question, and the person who made the post in question came to me and asked, I'd do it.

"Oh, you wanted me to experiment on it? Sorry. You didn't specify that."

hahah. the whole point to adding "no offense" is to let the person know that you are not trying to offend them, buddy.

and the offers you get, that are like mine, have nothing wrong with them. receiveing credits for services is the standard. asking for rare loot drops for compensation is ok, EXPECTING rare loot drops for compensation is where the problem lies. as you can see neither of the WS offered a credit amount which implies that they wouldnt do it for anything less so theywont becrafting it. if they had said a bone or *insert amount here* i wouldnt have been upset at all.

i didnt imply that i would only pay a token amount. i didnt state ANY amount that i would pay, I asked what the cost would be, hence the subjectof PRICE CHECK. i might be willing to pay a large sum of money.

and if you think the post was an insult you have thin skin friend. my opinion to you is to stop lurking the forums and jumping on a chance to bash someone.

the replies to my question are so laughable. its like the people that posted are grumpy, bitter lemonheads

"dont knock it before you try it" i did one more. i did armorsmith. and promtply dropped it. why? becuase it was a headache. so i do know what its like. even more so than weaponsmithing. i toiled over resources, not having enough lots to get all the resources i wanted, no spawns for exact types of steel or metals, trying to compete against the elder ws and as that have been around since day one.

you all are getting yer panties in a bunch.this is my last post in this thread. ive lost a bit of faith in the weaponsmithing community due to a few greedy people that ruin it for the honest rest.

People seem to forget that there is more to the cost of a weapon than the resources used. You are also paying for the fact that this person who you are paying to make you a special order weapon took the time and energy to become a Master Weaponsmith. You are paying for maintence cost on storage facilites, factories and harvestors every time you purchase a weapon or pay for his/her service to make you a special order. If you expect to get made for pennies then maybe you should take your chances with a Non-Master weaponsmith?
