1)Use the best resources you can afford....

2)send an email to your guildies and friends asking that they consider u if they ever loot anything weaponsmith related and in return u will take care of them weapon-wise

3)dont forget that SAC is more important than damage in most cases.........a rifle can do 200000 damage but if the sac is 126 its only good for killin level 30's in one shot...

4)and having an alt to gather stuff helps a ton

1. Read through all the stickies


2. Read this board daily (bugs and issues will usually be reported here and then you can read about them instead of experiencing them Here is a list of some of them


3. Here is a list of all Enhancers ingame (remember to unstack enhancers before running the factory)


4. Be patient and focus on niche areas till you have good enough resources to compete (melee and low CL weapons are mostly untouched by the veteran smiths)


5. Have fun. This profession is about having fun, not getting the largest bank account

BTW off the stickies Corenlanras Crafting guide is very very good to read for new smiths (and old ones returning who havent tried crafting post cu)

TBH though to earn big you will need patience as the first couple of month most of your income will go back into resources and enhancers

getting closer! but to be honest yea its all about the fun for me also, iv invested so much money in it and getting it back so slow but i dont care, every cent(or 10 million lol) was worth it, having lot more fun WSing then playing my jedi! sadly if u really want to compete u hav to prepare spending at least 100 million if ur not lucky enough ur guildes or pals can help u out with resources cheap not to mention to getting a suit and everything else...

To compete with the top ws on your server perhaps, but IMO theres plenty of room and a large marked for Low CL weapons (1-40) and melee weapons. stuff like Rocket launchers and grenades could also be an area where theres plenty of room to make money.

Its all about localizing where there is noone focusing and where the top smith havent got any time to fill the gaps. Also cathering to lower CL players will bring you loyal costumers later on

Nah honestly theres plenty of room fo rnewer smiths as long as they dont expect to marsh into the highend enhanced marked and make billions the day after they respecced to WS (to the OP Im not saying you respecced please dont think of it like that, Im just trying to illustrate a point )

Anyways Welcome aboard WS is a great profession and you actually get to exercise the braincells a bit once in a while

sure i meant that amount for the high end and ofc there is enough room for everyone. btw thats what exactly happened to me just where r my billions? anyways it is real fun and challanging and wish u find it the same as u develop i just hope they dont keep dumbing it down and put some more content in it
