Thread: What's the best way to craft weapons for slicing?

Just curious if it's better to craft weapons with their speed and damage below smuggler caps and put the remaining points into SAC, or just max damage and put the remianing points into another column, leaving the weapon ready to be sliced for speed and/or criticals...
Just curious what other people are finding useful... I'm mostly crafting pistols right now...

you can't slice SAC so best to get it sorted at the crafting stage... As to damage caps it depends on the weapon I guess, some have slice caps close to identical to the crafting caps, ALR's for example.... With an ALR if you get the max damage to just over 1100 an 8% slice will do the rest to 1183 max, thus you have will have more points to play with SAC...
