my hammers are 469 max damage , my cores are 41/41 damage , so with those cores , its 469 -41 = 428 , then 428 +(core stats) in this case 61 , so a hammer made will be 489 max

Can the looted geonosian reinforement core schematic be used in one of these power hammers? Would it be any better? Ofcourse using solidification paste.

You need a Re-inforcement core to be able to make a PH. If you looted the cores, then thats it, they cant go any higher. The other option is to use the schematic plus 1 yellow power cube and 1 solidifying agent to make a crafted core. Depending on the stats of the cube and agents, you could definately make a core greater than 61.

I make the Geo crafted cores and put them into powerhammers, I have made several with damage of just over 500, unsliced but still at a speed of 5.3. These are great for those non speed capped swordsman as they are significantly better than most low lvl acklay powerhammers.

Hi, I am not the original thread starter I never said I looted cores. The only cores I have looted were sword cores not reinforcement cores ( I dont believe u can loot them ). My question was if u can use either a standard WS schematic to make the cubes + paste into reinforcement cores or would a looted geonosian schematic enhance the results? I had some made, I believe using crafted cores on the WS schematic rather than a geo schematic ( cant be sure never asked ). The were yellow cubes with 13/15 damage and paste which was standard 10/500. The one I am holding right now was 5.3 147-489, before slice.range -24 (I asked for experimentation for range). The ham was standard 115/37/25. This was how I asked for them to be made and ofcourse damage was experimented to max. I had 8 of these geo hammers made and I got 3 speed and 3 damage sliced. I put 2 of the speeds on the bazaar for 6k. The other speed was 3.8 and just pips my 3.6 137-469 for damage per second. I still need more speed after visiting the village and getting my force sensitive melee speed, but then I will be on damage power hammers - and I cant quite image what those will be like. I am already seriously overpowered atm in PvE. Had to leave the tusken fort after killing warlords in 3 hits!

*Yes you can
**It would have had to been the Geo Schematic. Weaponsmiths don't have a reinforcement core schematic that they can add enhancements too.

i know that you can get better cores with schematic, but i thought this was nice cores. I have some yellow cubes and agent. is there any way to calculate what kind of cores can be made or you guys know this from your experience?

If you used +10 yellow cubes and +10 agents, depending on the resources used I believe they would turn out 42/52? Im at work and really can't remember off the top of my head, but thats somewhere close. Thats why I always tell people if you Loot cores that are over 50 they are worth keeping. I Have personally made a PH with like 37-137 LOOTED Reinforcement Cores. You would have to have +30 cubes and +30 agents to craft a core with those stats, so its hard to say "crafted cores are better" or "looted cores are better"
There are only 3 options for a Geno Power Hammer
1-- Acklay Bones
2-- Looted Cores
3-- Crafting a Reinforcement core using a Geno Re-Core Schematic, 1 Cube and 1 Agent
In the future if you want a custom PH made, you'd probably be better off asking the WS to use the extra experimentation point or 2 on Condition rather than Range. If he/she is using the best resources and is a 12pt smith, there will only be like 2 points left over after maxing out damage, which is about 100 condition or -1 on Range. That -24 was most likely a -25 before he experimented.

Number 1 wouldn't qualify as a GEO Power Hammer would it? Really Just an acklay...LOL

True, depends on how you look at it really. The Acklay is located in the Geno Cave eh?

The problem with Acklay bones is that you have to find a great weaponsmith willing to craft you the hammers...
I have looted 8 Acklay Bones 126-178 then I contacted the best weaponsmiths of my server:
-One doesn't accept custom orders anymore
-Another one won't craft them for me unless I sell him two of the bones (but since slicing is so damn random it's better to have 8 PHs and hope for a decent slice than 6)
-The third one is too busy to help me
Of course price is not a problem, I understand the great weaponsmiths are busy and their time is precious, but it seems I can't find a trusty uber wp to get those hammers crafted. eew.
