Thread: Can someone explain me how ranged mods work?

When you look at the weapon it has ranges, and mods for those ranges.
The Mod are your "to hit" bonus basically at those ranges, while standing still. so if the weapon has
0m +10/16m +15/64m -10
At 0m my accuracy mod for that weapon would get 10 added to it, at 16, 15 would be added, and at 64m my accuracy would be decreased by 10.

some weaps have weird ranges tho, rep. blasters are all at 0m range. Heavy weapons "ideal" range is 30m if I recall when heavy weap specials can only be used within 17m.

It normally holds to common sense.
- Pistols up close.
- Carbines in the middle ranges.
- Rifles at long range.
- Shooting while running is less accurate.
Watch the little number beside your target and see how it changes.

any rifles in SWG that can say shoot out to 350meters?, would seem more rifleman like to pick them off well outside engaugement range hehe.
