Looking for ideas on getting the HAM cost on a VK down as far as it can go. Don't really care all that much what the damage comes out to - I'm in it for the AP1 and "not killing myself" trying to use the thing un-buffed.
Friend of mine got me one that's around 20-90 and 19/33/20 HAM
Can they go lower?

i was able to get a pair down to 28 - 103 3.0 speed 25-38-25 hams but if you get some of the lightweight vibro motors from the jabba themepark they'l probly go even lower. it will also depend on what resources your server has had in spawn

19/31/19 with 0 HAM reg. blade vibro unit. is about as low they'll go I believe.

What are the HAM costs of bare hands?
I wonder... Tonite I'll see what I can do on Bria. Regretably, It won't help you any, but I'd like to see how low the HAMs can get.

Correct, i tested it maxing out Exp on Hams with all great succeses using 994 SR Steel, 791 SR copper and a 0-0-0 ham Reg vebro unit it ended up
14 - 83 20% wound +10 to all ranges 19-31-19 HAM. Im a 10 point smith, so an 11 or 12 point smith would probly have it end up with some more damage im guessing 20 ish to 100 - 110 ish.

Never measured bare hands, I know its low - very low - but hands aren't AP1

If you are master TKM get a few unarmed speed tapes and cap yourself then just use bare hands . You won't get AP1 though. As for lowest ham possible it looks like 19 on mind is the best you can get. If that is still too much try popping an Ahrisa (BE 400+ focus) or two and you'll be set even with the highest ham knucks.

you are capped as a TKM,you have 115 unarmed speed. No need for tapes

here u want to to not kill urself as a tkm lol gl im one as well only thing iv found is to get buffed (y r u fighting unbuffed anyway) take 2 swigs of my brandy and 3 things of ahrisha(sp) lol i can do w/e i want and it doesnt cost me anything also i cant take anything else but that isnt the point lol i dont have to pay any cost i think my focus is up near what a buff from a doc is like 2k or sumtin like that its always funny to be able to spam my specials more then the other guy as they stop do to there mind when i see that i just switch to my swords and there done.

actually you onlyneed to have 1 substat under each main ham bar over 1500 to have 0 special cost

Lol, actually i would disagree with P_Day on the focus = 1500 means no cost. Ive seen VK's using the jabba motors, those so-called 'lightwieght' motors that add 20/10/20 HaM. The final Vk was something around 53/60/52 HAM. Which, when combined with a TKM's speed = death at 1500 focus.
I was costing somewhere arounf 20 mind a shot with a focus of 1634...after armor and all.
Just my 2c.
