Thread: New Master Weaponsmith needs tips ...

Hi,
I have recently become a Master WS (not via respec) and would like some tips on how to make decent weapons.
Also what is a "12 pt" weaponsmith ? I understand it is the experimentation points but how do you get 12 ?

You must get CAs with a total of weaponsmith experimentation+20 (120 altogether) this gives you an extra 2 exp points when crafting

How much should I expect to pay for the CA's ?
and any other tips , like do's and don'ts

not sure what they sell for post CU and on your server, i bought mine pre CU for a total of about 16million.
be expected to pay upto around 20mil.
Dont make weapons with the highest Dps possible-experiment on damage till nearly full, then some speed and sac, especially with enhanced weapons. (may be hard to get good combo while only 10pt). And when making blaster power handlers i would leave damage alone and get sac down to at least -6 then rest on speed, damage will only go up by about 9-10 which is a very small % of the damage of the final weapon so i dont find its worth it.
If you ever get an amazing craft (a few amazing success) try to make a schematic
