Thread: FS Crafting xp grinding methods?
wow only 1000? that awesome
too bad those things use subcomponents ![]()
I think Dex're was also doing the ADFUs. Try ringing him up. ![]()
The ABLLs are definitely the power way to go...if you've got the duranium and duralloy and can get a bunch of subcomponents together. Anja doesn't have a good attention span, so she didn't want to do the extra legwork andcombines the ABLLs required. ![]()
Here's more detailed info from an earlier post I made on swgcraft. I don't think anything's changed post-CU but check the Force Sensitive forum here. Lots of good info.
I highy recommend Advanced Droid Frame Units at DE 0/0/0/2. At that level, you cap at 180K DE XP, which at 5:1, you trade for 36K FS XP. You have to cap out about 34 times for each tree, and I was capping in about 75 or 80 mins with five tools running, give or take a few crits. The best thing about the the ADFUs is they take only two clicks per combine, and it's generic steel and fiberplast. The way to go is to drop harvesters on the new JTL resources (hardened arveshium steel, crystallized bicorbantium steel, & gravitonic fiberplast) bcz you can often find concentrations over 90% and they stay in cycle for up to 21 days, if you're lucky. Less redeeding and running around, you just have to make sure to empty the hoppers a few times.
The other thing you could try, since you can make master artisan components, is Binary Load Lifters at 0/0/0/4. You'll need prep time for the component crates, in addition to mass quantites of Duralloy and Duranium, plus other stuff, but if you can coordinate, you should really rack up the XP. The drawback is a lot more clicking, and you'll have to concentrate to make sure everything is slotted correctly. For me, ADFUs were better cuz you could kind of space out.
I didn't make a recursive macro, just clicked on the tool hit enter to select the BLL schem, plugged in resources/comps, hit a toolbar that finishes it. I pulled 18 crates of ADMS, 3 crates of Droid brains/sensors, 6 crates of Manipulator arms from the factories, put 2/3 of that in a pack. Then grinded out all I had in my inventory. That got me to 210k XP. Traded it in for 84k fs xp. Rinse repeat, 3 goes = 252k fs xp/trip to factory, takes about 20mins tops to get that if you concentrate
