First off, I am posting on a friend's account. I let my account expire and am considering coming back. My question is this: Is it worth it to stay WS? I was a 10pt WS before I quit, now I am hearing that crafting has become worthless. Is this right or is this just from people that dont really know how to craft very well.
Just wondering.

Well, it's not worthless, but... the new loot drop weapons, especially melee, are generally better than we can craft. You'll need very good enhancements if you want to sell top-end weapons. 10pt smiths have a harder time competing due to the experimentation changes: damage and speed have been split into seperate exp lines. If your crafter is CL1 and you used to go out to survey or harvest then YOU WILL DIE!
IMO, the weapons we make now are less useful than they were before the CU. But, I still enjoy crafting and I like dealing with customers.

Totally agree, and hope this doesn't sound too stuck up: but DON'T PLAY the numbers, play the game. If you don't wanna craft, you don't wanna - if you wanna, you wanna - it's really that simple. And by playing that way it's very enjoyable watching the latest "pw3ned numb3rz profe55ion" getting hit by the nerf bat...
/Already looking forward, with glee,to the jedi upgrade that is coming with punish 19 or 20
