This question is for my WS friend. I have a set of 10 54dmg -0.87 tissues that I would like to make into some nice Heavy Lighting Rifles/Laser Rifles/HC Scatters/etc.
Here is the question. I would like to get decent SAC, but not sacrifice too much speed/damage. I believe this would be accomplished during the crafting of the components (ie handers, barrels).
So to all you vet 12pt WS's, how would you go about doing this. I was guessing maybe 6 pts into eff and speed on both the components, then everything into damage on final combine, the rest into eff. But seeing as I'm an armorsmith by trade, I'm not really sure if there would be a better solution.

I would get the SAC as low as possible on the Subs, -8 on the handlers and barrel - should be able to hit that with 8 Points and then the rest in speed. Then with a decent Stock (about -23 SAC or so) and on the final product max out damage (about 8 points) and the rest in speed.
Should be a well balanced weapon - and then you can choose your slice.
