Thread: With new slicing changes? Sliced vendors what do you do?

Now that the changes are in effect are you even keeping a vendor for 2% slices? or are we all just running unsliced vendors now? Discuss...

Screw it, people can slice their own stuff. Besides, what if a buyer wanted 100% speed? You can't do that after it already has a damage slice on it.

I've continued to offer only sliced weapons, with level 1 speed and damage on them. I save unsliced and different slicing versions such as pure speed, pure damage, etc for special requests. So far I haven't had any complaints, and my usual amount of sales...but that could mean customers just aren't being vocal about their displeasure.



On a similar subject, what is everyone doing with pre-pub 19 slices ? I've been pondering a massive clearance, myself...

Yeah I'm selling off the rest of my sliced weapons cheap and shutting down the vendor along with the smuggler supply vendor.

Im thinking of setting up a slicing vendor next to my normal vendor. That slcing vendor will have weapons sliced with both a 2% to speed and damage. I'm only doing the 2% cause they dont need any loot for them. It's good to have a 2nd account that's a master smuggler. If they want an unsliced weapon they can buy an unsliced weapon from my other vendor

every gun will get a damage slice unless it is capped no matter what so i do it. Every gun will get a level 2 damage slice unless it is capped, so i do it. 99.999% of all guns will get a level 1 speed slice because even if you do tier 3 damage you still do speed.



so... I usually do tier 2 damage, and tier 1 speed. If i didn't whats the point of being a smuggler.


anything else is special order, when i run out of toolkits, only tier one will get done.



Old pre-19 slices went on an unslicable bargain weapons vendor for verry cheap, all the pre-cu crap and unslicable junk will probly get deleted next restock most was high DPS anyway that is not wanted now.
