Never, everbuy resources unless you're in severe severe need. Harv everything yourself.

Buying resources erases all profit margin. As a newb WS Iwas in debt for months.

Is there a forum post for WS resource spawns ? I mean the really great short term ones ?

Trawling SWG Craft is such a headache at times.

Well I bought almost all my resources and I think I manage pretty fine

but if you are not in a hurry to start its probably better to harvest on your own. Because Ive bought resources for like 10mil

so if you are kinda short on cash harvest on your own

1) Try to save up several million credits before you start producing weapons. Use that money to try to find server best (Or near server best) resources for your componants.

2) Your guild is your lifeline. Ask for help in getting weapon exp CA's. Reward them with free weapons or next to free weapons. Ask for financial and material help as well. The sooner you can get up and running, the better off they will be too.

3) If you have a combat toon, go krayting. Team up with some jedi, and tell them that they can keep all the pearls if you can get all the tissues. This can work out very well.

4) Start off making noob weapons. Place a shop near Mos Eisley if you can. While you won't make a killing, its a steady income that allows you to finance your business.

5) This is your business. Like in real life, 90% of all businesses fail, mainly to poor planing. Keep track of what you sell. Watch for popular trends in weapons and go with them. Never be afraid to change prices... Down or UP.

6) You must spend money to make money. That server best Link Steel aluminium may only give your ALR an extra 20 points of damage, but to a combatant that 20 points matters
