Thread: Geo loot worth while anymore?

Can you actually make decent weapons with the loot from the geo cave? I have about 150 loot items from there and it would be nice to get something for them or give them to a crafter rather then destroying them.

I think the only thing usefull is to make cores with yellow cubes for either PH or Stun Batons. Scythes, DXR6 Rifles and Geo Sonics all have low CL. Scythes are probably 2nd worth making, and DXR6 and Sonics are worthless unless you are grinding.

The reality is that there is a middle market out there for the Scythe, Sonic blasters and Tenloss Carbine. As a true smith, you should cater to all including the basic grinders. Cubes, "Glue", cores all coming from the Geocave are still items in need for these mid-range weapons. Put some on your vendor and watch them get taken. Folks LOVE the uniqueness of these weapons, just like the Nak'tra knife. Many of my customers are mere collectors of these weaponry because alot of WpnSmths just dont make em anymore. Give it a try!!
Like the DE-10, the above mentioned weaponry (save the Naktra Knife of course)Scythe were nerfed post CU, But still the demand is there. I just have the folks bring me the schematics/barrels, etc and make em for em on the spot. Happens all the time and I hope it keeps on happening!

My rules:
1. The "none of your friggin business how many "points" I am" weaponsmith...
2. Krayted/Gorax/Ackley/etc weapons are for wimps who are afraid of "dying" and
have more money than combat saavy..
3. Use the word "Uber" when requesting a weapon, and I won't make it. On top
of that, I'll refer you to a Respec Wpnsmith I know who "just doesnt get it" and
only makes junk despite claiming to be a "12-pointer"...
4. I refuse to make BH weaponry until the scales are balanced where folks
in a jedi's group can help him out against a gang of BH's..(Wouldn't you
help your friend, if you could?)
5. The best compliment is when another Master Weaponsmith buys weaponry
from you.

just had a weaponsmith on flurry make me a 1091 hammer with my geo loot ...
i would call that good
