What are the Legendary/Exceptional Weapons ?
I mean i've played since the beginning and havent ever looted one. is there a special place for this?

Loot only, VERY rare. They might only drop from high-level NPCs and item-dropping creatures like krayts and rancors, but there isn't enough data to confirm this.
Apparently any weapon that drops as loot has the potential for exceptional/legendary stats; I remember some guy posted a screenshot of an exceptional CDEF.

there's one legendary weapon of each type per server. The weapon has to be destroyed in order for another one to spawn. some guy posted a screen of the legendary flame thrower. legendary weapons are extremely strong, exceptional's are just a tad more powerful.

Heh. I looted an "Exceptional" DLT20a from a Singing mountain clan dragoon last night.
Exceptional? That's a laugh. It's 93-147 4.8 7/14/7 HAM and with +3 rifle accuracy, +13 to rifle speed and +4 to terrain neg. It's on my gun wall. A few moths back I got an exceptional Dokuwaha stone knife that had some insane dodoge and 1H weapon mods on it but the dmg was that low it was worthless.
A fellow smith in my PRC looted an exceptional T21 off a FS npc on Dant. It's like 1200-2300 5.0 with real low HAM. It gets used only rarely during city invasions. Really a fearsome weapon. I think it should have been labelled legendary...

I'm not entirely sure if this topic would belong in this forum, but has anyone ever attempted to produce a listing of all the known Legendary and Exceptional weapons?
Again, my apologies if this doesn't belong here, flame away.

It got dragged out during a large raid on our 4 bases a while back and was 1-shot killing fully buffed PCs. I believe the combat spam was coming back with 2K average dmg on PC's and one guy got hit for 3200 with an adv strafe. The attackers sent tells saying they were gonna report for the rifleman for using a multisliced weapon but I dunno if they ever did. Either way the gun is there as proof. It's only at 490/600 now though

there was an exceptional t-21 loot off of bloodfin, from a ns elder, he sold it for 70mil on the trade forums

You have it backwards, Legendary > Exceptional.

i think thats what hewas saying... 'exceptional's are just a tad more powerful' more powerful than normal looted weapons of the same type...

It'd be difficult to have a full listing of Exceptional weapons. Just because there are so many. I've looted about 7 or 8 myself. Legendary, that's another story. I have the only and only Legendary DLT20a of Flurry
