I am a DE who grinded MWS recently. I ran into a lvel 80 character recently who asked what was the best rifle I can craft that does not have any skill requirements. I answered the Advanced Laser Rifle. Does that sound right?

I think he may want me to make one for him, and he will provide the Krayt tissues. What would you charge for a weapon like that when the customer provided the enhancement? I know it's all relative per server, but generally? Same question for a power hammer -- I have some excellent Kammis for it but he would provide the enhancement material.

Sorry, I know these are basic questions, but up to now I have been mainly making lower and mid level weapons in my spare time, I am new to the Uber world.

I would normaly charge the same price as the weapon would cost if not enhanced as they would be supplying the enhancements. I add extra money if they want it made quick so i have to stop what ever i may be doing, and also charge extra if the customer is wanting 5+ weapons making as this can take time ( especially if they are all muliple ABPHs so need identicals made from factories) largest order i have done to date was 18 and i charged 500k (under 30k each)as the customer was i no rush for them.

But to be totaly honest the best thing to do is charge around the same price as un enhanced weapon would sell for then maybe ask/drop hint that tips are appreciated

50k probably sounds about right for an up and coming smith. In most cases I'd charge 200k, 100k for crafting the handlers and 100k for crafting the gun, but I've been collecting resources and building weapons for almost two years. Make sure to use pyollian cake for assembly and bespin port for experimentation. That's another reason why I charge what I do as I have to wait a while after crafting before I can craft something else and time is credits.

Ok, thank you all for your feedback, it makes a lot of sense. Especially that part about charging more due to the chef buffs.
