If you don't mind the SAC cost on your weapon being higher then they are good.
Crafted Stocks give SAC reduction (up to about -23) and a slight speed penalty.
Looted Stocks give Damage increase and a speed reduction.
Well, since I think SAC is pretty important I would say that they´re kinda crappy then.....unless you can combine them with some other enhancer that will bring SAC down? Is that possible?
Yeah if you use the Power Cells or Reinforced Casing you can get an additional -8 SAC, which helps.
I made a damage capped Adv Laser Rifle using an Imperial theme Park stock (+25min +30max), the SAC was about 92ish I think so not to shabby.

Not too shabby at all.....Can my stocks be used to craft a carbine? Or are they for rifles only?

Word of warning though - unless they were looted post Publish 22 the stocks will mess up the damage type of the weapon (change energy to blast and kinetic to energy)
So I would get your WS to test one of them on a normal weapon before using any powercells or tissues etc.
I´ve heard about that bug, but it´s not an issue. They are looted pre-pub 22. (2 days ago)
