Thread: Yellow named enahncements, what is the deal?

I looted a yellow named Geno sword core as well as spider fang. The serial numbers match that of the white named ones. I have been seeing a ton of people auctioning these also. Has anyone found any that dictates that these yellow named object are worth anything extra.

When a set of loot has stats above that of their "standard" counterparts, the first item in that set has a yellow name to signify that. It was originally added so that people who didn't know anything about loot would recognize a difference and not destroy them prematurely.
It'd be easier if they made all the items in these sets have yellow text, to stop this kind of confusion,but... /shrug. It's something at least.

That would explain the fact that eh spider fang I looted had a max damage +42 on it. Nice thing is that I got 7 of them, made 4 really nice FWG5's/
