I looted some (6 I think) pretty nice Rancor teeth and was wonderingwhat weapon(s) I should have made with them. I don't even know what weapons can use them. Only swords? I'm not sure. That's why I'm here asking. What about power hammers? Can they be used there? If not, what do you weaponsmiths recommend? I plan on using swordsman in PvE mainly.

The standard Rancor Teeth are roughly +1.0 speed and +50 damage. There are some teeth that are a bit better, I have some that are like +130 damage, +0.5 spd or so.

The Rancor Teeth are used as a replacement for a Sword Core. They Can go in the following weapons:

Sword

Rykk Blade

1h Curved

2h Curved

2h Cleaver

(I think thats all)

A Master weaponsmith with average resources can craft a sword core made from one type of resource that is roughly 50 max damage, with a negative speed modifier.

So basically, all +50 damage +speed Rancor Teeth are garbage. A weapon made using crafted Advanced Sword Cores will be the same if not better damage, and lower speed.

Cool thanks. I think the max damage on the teeth I looted are like 165 or so. Seems like that would be good right?

So they are for swords huh? Is there any loot that can enhance power hammers? That's what I'm really interested in. For smashing turrets and AT-STs.

I had some 165 max teeth that I used in curved swords. I chose curved swords because speed doesn't matter to high level fencers. After slicing, a couple of the swords came out at 377 and 371 max damage. Those sold for 550K and 400K respectively on Bria.
