Please, in an effort to make experimentation CAs more available to all, refuse to pay more than 1 mil per pointon any CA. The reason being that most Weaponsmiths (like myself) cannot afford to pay 14 mil+ on a +7. So I'm asking you, to please do your part to improve the economy. This cannot work unless we have the support of all forum-going Weaponsmiths of Ahazi

well, i am not from ahazi, but i know hard caps when i see them. i am sorry, but this won't happen. number 1, it is unfair to do this to a seller. how would you like it if all the weaponsmiths got together on Ahzai and chose a selling price for every weapon you sell that is 1/2 the price you sell them for? you wouldn't.

number 2, an economy is what it is. you can't change that because you can't change people. they have to want to change themselves. that's why when a player's union in a sports arena says "whay can't the owners just make better decisions with their money?" i laugh my butt off. because if they could, they would.

finally, if people do agree to this you open a whole new can of worms about players getting together and deciding what they will pay as a community for something, and that is VERY dangerous to an economy. somebody on your server has a billion, or close to, credits and if this ever went through it would pave the way for them to swoop in and buy everything up set a new margin, one that they saw fit as the new monopoly holder.

get your guildmates to help you get attachments. if you don't have a guild find one. if you don't want a guild make friends. strike a bargain with them for free weapons for turning over any skill tapes they find so you can make it to 12pts. then there is the american way: OPM. if you don't know what it stands for, you need a lesson in business...

my suit was given to me by Hox Starclipper because he got to know and liked what i was about as a person, as a player, and as a businessman. however, the suit was far from complete. i have used my credits from sales, and OPM, to build my suit to near perfection (+29 exper +31 assem +18 weapon repair). OPM was the biggest and bargaining tools were the biggest things in getting a suit that was 18 exper, 14 assem, 0 WR (without the WS toolkit) to where it is now. get creative. there is a way to do this and when you have succeeded you feel like you have accomplished something... good luck to you.

Yep, I'm starting to make some real money with weaponsmithing so if that +3 CA comes up on auction buyout 7mil. It's gone. Sorry but people have money to spend and spend it they will if they need it badly enough.

My thoughts on the SEA pricing; you should look at these as a reward for running a successful shop/business, If you aren't making enough money to pay for these at market prices then maybe you have other problems that need to be addressed to increase your cashflow.

I've taken quite a few business classes and I've never heard of OPM, its not a common term unless its a US thing.

it is an american term. from that movie the acronym became a widely used word since it refers to all sorts of things that allow you to make money without using your own. for instance, a credit card = OPM. yeah, you pay it off at the end of a month, but you also already collected intrest on the money in your bank account before you paid it off. you got that extra money because you used OPM. maybe that amounts to $1. you say well that's just $1. but over 12 months it's $12. added to other things you can save money on, many people find an extra $2k-$3k a year by paying better attention to how they spend their money and what they spend it on. they save money, make extra intrest, and get things paid for by someone other than themselves.

yeah this isn't going to work because someone is always going to be willing to outbid or b/o on those auctions...and many of them don't necessarily come to these forums. basically, you won't be able to get people to conform to such a standard

my solution has been to pay up to guildies and other friends directly...those that I know hunt for CA'sregularly

at the same time my own combat alt does the same and i exchange CA's occassionally as well .. so far its working better than trying to race to the trade forums 12 times a day to try and catch these things
