just concerned with the weaps for now, naids later maybe
best way to make a flamer?
form fit stock + standard barrel ?
both keeping the speed as high as poss
best way to do a HAR
form fit stock + standard barrel + zero ham scope
again keeping speed high as poss
ami headed in the right direction or would you do em differently? also which stock if i was using crafted ones rather than form fit?

The difference between Form-fitted stocks is:
Form Fitted Stock: 25 min30 max -.5 speed (I think)
Advanced Stock: 40 min 40 max +.3 speed
So with am imp stock you are looking at a gun faster by a whole second even though it may be 15 damage less.

Looks good, don't think I'd put a FF stock on an acid rifle though unless it was a custom order.
Acid rifle is not popular for commandos, I don't know why because acid is a better damage type, maybe broken specials or no burn?

Depends on what your customer wants. There is no wrong answer to this question. I use a LLC on my MBH quite similar to the flamer and acid rifle. I find there are times when speed is key and times when power is key.
As for form fitted stocks are they all that common anymore. Havent seen alot floating around on my server. So if your going to use a form fitted stock I highly recommend getting krayt tissue together first. That way you can get the most from the stock.
Barrels is a tossup too basic may be a tad faster, but advanced has a better range modifier. I suppose the question is which your client will be better off with. Ask your customer if they have terrain negotiation. If they do then at a full backpedal that flamer can really benefit from the better range mod.

The reasons acid rifles aren't popular with commandoes;
HAM costs are higher than the flamethrower
No DoT, unlike the flamethrower
It used to be that Acid Rifle specials didn't work either, but that changed back in publish 7 or 8. Now they do work. They just don't do anything beyond changing how much damage they do.
Acid Rifles do have a high wound chance, but with everyone running around in PvP with 80% composite, well....
Now, if Acid Rifles had *any* kind of Armor Piercing, then they'd be more popular.

Well the HAR is the only Acid based weapon in the Game that doesn't have any Armor Piercing (AP0).Plus its higher HAM costs, and no DoT damage make it a weak clone of the Flame Thower. So with those problems the HAR isn't a currently desirable weapon for most Commandos.
