Thread: Looted Weapon Cert Bug?

I posted this in the Update notes but thought that it might be good to post here. Has anyone noticed this or is it just an isolated case?
I looted two weapons from some STs today. One is a DH-17 and the other A DL-44. When I examined them under certification it says: No.
I have Novice Carbineer and should be certified for both. Both my crafted weapons of the same types state that I am certified.Of coursei wasn't going to use them (since almost all looted weapons have poor stats) but,i wanted post this, since there may be a problem with certs on looted weapons. (already did a /bug but no idea if anyone actually gets those)

You don't get DL-44 pistol certified until you get pistols 1, and if that DH17 is a pistol instead of a carbine, you won't get that cert until you get pistols 2. Do you have pistols along with your carbineer skills? If not, that is the problem

There is a "black metal" DH17 carbine that nobody has been able to use as far as I'm aware

Ok I thought that the DL-44 Pistol was in Nov Marksman. But pretty sure that the DH-17 is a carbine (it was late when I was checking this). It's all black like Ybagi mentioned. I'll look again when i get home.
