Thread: Does a weapon's accuracy count toward the +25 max on skill mods?

Hi all,

My question is if I have a pistol that has a mod of +17 accuracy does this count toward the +25 max I can have on general ranged accuracy? Or does it count towards the +25 max on pistol accuracy? Or is it it's own category (maybe not even subject to the +25 cap on SEAs)? Obviously I'm trying to figure out if it's worth investing in SEAs totally more than +8 in accuracy.

If no one has tested, I'd like to suggest a test for a weaponsmith who already has purchased high level accuracy SEAs. Simply take a weapon with accuracy and shoot stuff with the high level accuracy SEAs equiped. Then make a nearly identical weapon but one without accuracy and shot stuff with your high level SEAs. If there is no difference in damage (since accuracy adds to damage) then the weapon's accuracy doesn't add because you're already maxxed out from your SEAs.

Thanks to anyone with info or willingness to test.
