Thread: Crafters lead a hard life

Well im glad that there is an upcoming fix for the weaponsmith bug.
However we still have alot of other problems that can be addressed if we actually have the dev's attention for once.
I dont know about the rest of my fellow weaponsmiths out there but i for one cannot stand these loot drops from kashyyk.These drops are doing to weaponsmith what the space loot drops did to shipwright.In other words a proffesion that could have been very profitable has become overlooked due to the fact that most shipwrights are really not needed.
Granted we still are nessacary to some people but most advanced characters no longer need to use our services as all they now need to do is goto one planet and they can get really good weapons basically for free.Throw in an ADK and we will never be useful.
I feel that our profession gives this game the one thing that most others lack,interdependance.It helps give us that sense of community that every other game lacks.If we allow the developers to take this away we will not only be allowing them to kill us but we will be allowing them in my opinion to destroy this game on everyone.
While i cannot figure out how to get them to change their path maybe one will actually read this post or it will somehow get to them and the magic light might shine upon them.
If anyone has any other things they'd like to bring up or a suggestion to how we can change this please post.I do not want to see this game end.
