I have looked all over, and it seems I can not find what i am looking for.

I was wondering if anyone here could offer or make a rifle with a base dps in the mid to high 300's or close to 400.

I have read the post about DPS and it is kinda confusing to me being a little new to the game.

What I am looking for is something that can put out the damage but not Drain my Energy, as my current rifle is 104 sac and high 200's base dps.

Is this something anyone here can help me out with, or help me understand as to what I want.

Thanks for you time, and glad to have you guys around.

when they fix the experimentation with a 165 damage tissue and core booster i could make youa rifle at about:

490-1185 damage

2.5 speed

82 SAC

Would you mind explaining in lamens terms the best rifle,

is it having HIGH dps with average speed

or is it having good dps with very low speed

In my mind they would output the same in the end.

I know in the post about how to understand weapons and what to look for, the guys say that they will make high dps weapons but that is not what the experienced players want.

I could be way off please advise if i am.

Thank you for your time.

Unless your planning on using "Ranged Shot" and nothing else, then look for Max damage and SAC - DPS is only really accurate if you spam ranged shot with no specials.

Sorry, you will have to hope that someone has the weapon you want already made because they can't make it for you now, SOE broke crafting completely.

crating works fine, the display of the results is what is borked.

look around for the workaround, tab out and tab in after using 1 exp point. It works most of the time.

Oh and if you use 160 tissues you would waste a core booster, they will not slice above the slice cap which is lower than the craft cap. IMHO core boosters are a WASTE of credits. Spend your 1 mil getting better krayt/gorax/ackley as it will give the best weapon. Sadly a core booster will never beat a crafted capped weapon.

Core boosters are one of those in-game items that are valued way above what they should be as they can no-way make anything near the best weapon in the game. Best weapon is craft damage capped, craft SAC capped and then tier 4 speed sliced. (period) You need the best resources, the best enhancements and a capable 12point smith.

think your wrong there, just because it says it increases speed by 12% have you actually tried to see if your weapon then fires 12% faster? well i did, and it doesn't. PERIOD. speed slicing is something that should be done AFTER you've done an 8% damage, you uses the exp. for getting speed and SAC capped. a mod speed rifle for example of 1.5 will slice to 1.39 (a 12% slice) the 1.5 speed rifle fires real time at 1.75 shots a second. the 1.39 rifle fires at 1.69 shots a second. mearly a 4% increase in speed.

your issue on core boosters is wrong too. a core booster may sell for 1mill? relatively a good 190 tissue sells for perhaps 15mill(saw one sell for this last week on my server) 1mill core booster = +60pts damage roughly, = 17k per point. a tissue at 15mill = 190 points = 79k per point.

please get your numbers right.
