I'm working my way up WS right now, and I'm almost ready to start building REAL weapons. From what I can tell i need far too many different kinds of resources to be able to get them all myself. I'm think i'll pick the most common, harvest them, and just buy the rest. My question is what is the best way to go about finding the best resources? Currently i'm traveling to all the planets and checking my survey device in the cities. From what i can tell this seems to tell me what is the region of that planet, so i just hope from city to city seeing what pops up. Would someone please let me know if this is go method. Mostly i'm conserned about missing something that would only pop up if i travel out into the wilderness. (my char is a bit of wuss). Also, if anyone has any information about renting lots from other people, let me know

Thanks,

Ki'la

as soon as you land in a starport you can see all the resources that are on the planet. there is no need to travel in the wilderness to see if there is a different resource. there isnt even a need to hop from city to city because it will all be the same. just have to hop from planet to planet.

I feel your pain friend.

Some of the resources have been taking their sweet time to show up. I've also been not to thrilled with the conductivity and quailty of some of the materials available. I just don't see the point in using a resource with a conductivity in the 20's when thats going to be one of my key ingredients. Plumbum iron is something with which this problem occurs all the time.

Given the choice between style over substance. I'll take a sandwich.
