I'm using a crafting macro to grind projectile barrels in parctice mode and for some reason, my resources get used but I don't get any xp. Anyone else having this problem and/or know a solution for it?

Without macro's, I dont get weapon crafting exp for crafting any weapons that I was able to craft prior to taking up weaponsmith. I don't know if it was intended or a bug, but it could be related.

JediBohemian, I Use to se the same is I as near a crafting station. Whether that station is a public, private, in your droid, or in someone else's droid...

Arakinas, You of cause only get weapon crafting exp for schematics belonging to the profession weaponsmith. If you could craft a weapon prior to taking up weaponsmith then it is not a weaponsmith schematic.
The CDEF Rifle schematic is an artisan schematic and gives general crafting experience, same for the heavy axe, or reinforced combat staff.

The answer is: Get trained. Spend those XP already. There is a cap on how much XP you can accumulate, which increases with skill.

Also it seems that things I could craft as an artisan no longer give me xp as a weaponsmith.

uhh becasue it artisian skilled items.....! cdefs wont give you weaponmsith xp nor dagers or survivel knifes

yes, you need to get the skill taught, if u have a macro running over night, and u dont get a skill taught. u will eventually not gain more exp till the skill is taught.
