Forgive my ignorance as I use carbines and do not make them so I have come to ask the experts. I was told that the Nyms Carbine is craftable...is that correct? If so, can it be modified with Krayt tissues, specialised looted barrels, stocks etc. and then sliced? Thanks for any info you may be able to provide me on this subject...

not craftable.. cl50 weapon given from a quest for nym in nyms stronghold

Damn...thought that still might be the case. I have 10 on the wall of my house making a nice decorative triangle and carry one with me for combat. Heard they were craftable after the CU but must have gotten it wrong. Thanks for your help anyway!

I heard that post-cu the stats on these vary as the quest reward from crappy to a really good carbine.

what it should be is a schematic that you need to loot a loot part for like a "Nym's Booster Cell" or something, like the Berserker Rifle. This game is moving more towards loot and away from original crafting, there are no schems for nearly any of the weapons looted on Kash....
