Be it resolved that the vast, yet quiet, majority of players find the practice of intitiating petitions, generally with little forethought, consideration, or consultationas tothe collateral effects of said proposed changes to other players/professions, to be in and of itself an objectionable practicewhich upon approval of this petition would henceforth be deemed conduct detrimental to the community.
Whomsoever would find themself in agreement with this petition to end all petitions should indicate their mark of approval in this last ever petition to plague these pages.

I one-starred you, because it's a lame-ass joke and a waste offorum space. You've made somevery goodpoints on the slicing/vendor topic, but you don't need to be so damn antagonstic about it.

90 percent of allposts are a waste of forum space, but it's a renewable resouce so don't sweat it. At least you finally had the backbone to come out and say something publicly even if I was wrong about who did it. I could care less about being one-starred. As you can tell, when I think someone has made a stupid post I don't hesitate to tell them so. I could care less whether you liked my post or not. I thought it was a more lighthearted way of registering my objection to the very idea of the petition regardless of the subject and certainly nicer than calling that person an idiot for fostering their own waste of bandwidth on the forum.

The reason I didn't post earlier isn't because I was a coward, as you seem to imply, but because I didn't think it was worth the effort. I only posted because you wrongly accused somone else of one-starring you. And if you don't care about being one-starred, why did you even bring it up in the first place?
You might not have liked the slicing/vendor ban idea, but the posts on it (including your own posts, I might add)were more constructive than this thread.

Considering how many threads we have open talking about each topic, the amount of solid good points in favor of and against each point, I think we can validly say that any petition that comes from such conversations are not wasted. Perhaps some of the arguments we come up with were overlooked by the devs themselves (heaven forbid they be human). Making a mockery of our pseudo-democratic style isnt going to make the situation any better
