Thread: Does a MWS need combat skills to become a force sensitive crafter?
If in any way you are able to get the experimentation and assembly line of the crafting tree I higly recommend doing so. Youll get more amazings, frankly I havent had a moderate success since I bacame FS (Knock On wood) and these days where amazings is so important it is a real benefit.
(oh and group with a level 80 player (even thou youre not on the same planet) when going to the village, that way youll benefit from the level protection, even thou I still woulndt like the trip)
I'm Crafting Master and never get anything but greats and amazings. I think only experimentation and assembly matter now. You need 1225000 FS crafting experience for each of these. Weapon crafting experience converts 1:5 to FS crafting experience so that's 12.25 million weapon crafting exp to finish these two lines. Heavy Warhead Mechs give you 735 exp so you can get there by grinding a mere 16667 HWMs or get full crafting mastery with just 33333 HWMs. The first box or two in each line will improve your experiments if you don't grind it all.
Getting to the Village is actually easy with no combat skills. From Science Outpost go South towards the Dath Tarpits where the land gets flat then head straight to the village. I've taken this route dozens of times and have never gotten killed or even hit. The flat part of Dath is fairly safe. Ranged attackers seem to have a delay in getting agro'd now so they won'tagro if you keep moving. Melee attackers will agro but only after you pass them, so they don't hit you. Just don't drive past anything that spawns too far in front of youand don'tget stuck too long on a tree or log. The stuff that spawns as you pass it should be no trouble.
Some of the content badges you need to get glowy may be tough now without armor and buffs. The combat part was easy before the CU but will probably be much harder now. You need to kill things that are combat level 20-25. You may need a combat type to group with youand do thekilling.
Good luck to you
