I just hit expert firearms crafting, but I don't see SG82 rifles under my list of makable weapons (yes I am at a crafting station)

All the other weapons are there, is there something special about SG82s?

Greetings fellow weaponsmiths. I have a question. Is there a difference between the different color geo power cubes. What color does what, and which one is best for what? And info would be appreciated.

Yellow = Adds damage

Green = Adds condition

Red = Lower HAM costs

White = Generic, no bonuses

Hope this helps.

Im currently going for Master Weaponsmith but im confused by what i see on the forums, i see terms like cubes and tissues, im sure these are resources im just not sure what they do, wouldnt you make scythe's with steel and not cubes? i've looked in the FAQ and cant find anything on this, i've been a combat player for 3 months and very new to crafting.

Is there any links or FAQ's that answer these terms what they do, how to get them, ect?

Thanks.

The thread stickied with important links and a weaponsmith FAQ.

There are a few things that you will need to get out of your head and realize how the game works in regard to crafting. I would also worn you that unless you are willing to dedicate some time you will just spend a lot of money and time with results that to you look like total garbage. Its a lot of fun but if you want to make high end stuff you will find the resource hunt quite daunting.

I dont mean to deter you to much but rather to give you a warning that its not easy money and it will take time. Its very reliable on quality.. unlike clothing and some structures the stats are very important and people only want the best.

Well this is what you need:

Scythe

100% SR

  • 60 Carbonite Steel
  • 30 Phrik Aluminum
  • 2 Identical Geonosian Sword Cores(you can craft these or use looted ones)

Geonosian Sword Core

100% UT

  • 50 Neutronium Steel
  • 1 Power Cube
  • 1 Optional Melee Enhancement (Solidfying Paste)

The power cube is the cube.. a item looted in the geo caves. There are yellow, green, red, and white cubes. Most people like yellow since it helps damage.

so its not like every item needs something looted to make? it can be made from regular skill and exp points and be made good?

No most items can be made with stuff that is crafted. Its mostly just a few looted schematics and also just to enhace some items.
