Thread: Nak'tra Crystals ?

I've been looting these from the unsors inmydriilcavern and I was wondering what there for and how much there worth?
also looted a nak'tra crystal rifle that shoots lighting like the LLC but green. I thought the crystals may be used to build the rifle.

As far as I know those crystals are not worth much. you may get 1k on bazzar for em. I find and loot em all the time, and they are good for decorating your house, but thats about it...Ive only seen one weapon use those crystals, its a knife, and it really sucks! Im sure theres gotta be other weapons, but meh, I like em along my stairway!

um, WHERE DID YOU GET THIS RIFLE???????????
please, i must know! i'm on a quest to get all the rifles, and i've never even heard of that one!

Mydriil caverns "nefarius" drops it , nefarius is a unsours he isnear the lost soul ariyya the wookie you killfor the cyber arm on the way to necrosis.

The spider in the middle of the Myyydril caves, and the bottom, in the room with the lost souls, in the middle on top the big hill. lvl 77 or 78 or 79 i think. It does not drop the rifle everytime, in fact, the last 4 runs Ive been through it has dropped nothing, and the past 3 before that has droped the rifle 2 times and the carbine once.

They are used by weaponsmiths for a quest in the myydril cavern. They need to make 5 nak'tra knives for the NPC and it takes 3 crystals per knife. The knives are very low quality then. After you complete the quest the schematic to make the knives becomes permanent and you can make a very uber level 40 fencer knife, like around 750 damage on it.

the carbine I was refering too was looted off the same bug you get the rifle from, it is possible its the crystal carb, nut I cant remmeber for certain!

They can be used for crafting the Nak'tra Crystal Knife, a one handed weapon with a max. dmg. around 700. It looks like a blue Gurkha kukriss 
Edited: this is the maximum damage approximate that's obtained using advanced sword cores, not the cap. Using geonosian stuff the damage can be boosted

Last ones I bought in Radiant were 1k each...
Sometimes 5k and a lot of times my guild gather them when they go in their way to Necrosis
