Thread: Question about Krayt Dragon Tissues

They are used in the component (advanced) blaster power handler, which is used to make the weapon.

As my first purhcase of Krayt Dragon Tissues, I bought a bag of 11 of them (max dmg 47, attack speed -0.537, all have the same serial number) for about 10k. I have tried using them in all kinds of different weapons. Whenever I try to use them, I get a "Bad component chosen for slot. You should not be able to put that component here.". Is it possible these are bugged, or am I missing something on how I should be using these? I'd like to start making weapons with Krayt tissues, but don't want to waste any money.

That's the slot I tried using them in. I single-click, it lights up the blaster power handler slot. I double-click to use it, and that's when i get the error message.

Let me be more clear.

Craft an Advanced Blaster Power Handler and put the Krayt tissue in the enhancement slot. Make a schematic and put it in a factory so you get 10 identical Advanced Blaster Power Handlers that you can use in several different weapons.

Make *SURE* you unstack your entire stack of tissues when you're loading them in the factory, otherwise they'll get eaten and you'll be one unhappy camper.

Also, the OP is trying to double click on the stack of 11 to add to the ABPH, that doesn't work, you gotta unstack in order to craft. To be safe I always unstack it down to the last tissue if I know i'm doing a factory run.

I expect that, as there are 11 identical and the dmg is only 47, these are pre-CU and are therefore already unstacked. Post-CU i've never seen more than a set of six identical.
