What components go into making a flamethrower? I'm kinda wondering if they can be enhanced.

Krayt Tissues can upgrade the Blaster Power Handler, that's the only enhancement I know of.

However, Flamethrowers need 4 identical factory made BPH's. As each requires a Krayt Tissue, you need at least 5 identical tissues, which means one will be burnt making a schematic, and the other 4 for the PH's. This will allow no margin for error though. This process would mean you need 2 perfect combines and 4+ perfect experimentations.

It can be done though. A PA member of mine brought me 9 identical tissues on Sunday, and I managed to knock out 2 Flamethrowers with higher stats than I've seen on my server so far....

The damage is already too high on a Flamethrower to make Krayts worthwhile. Five 30 max tissues would only increase the max damage by 3 or 4%. You could buy a crate of Flamethrowers without tissue and have them all sliced for the same price as one Krayt enhanced. You are more likely to get a better Flamethrower that way.
