Decided to test on some vk's.
First set of VK's are all experimented for max damage on final combine.
VK 1) Made with a 6 and 6 AVBU VK 2) Made with a full damage AVBU VK 3) Made with a full speed AVBU
Attack Speed 2.91Attack Speed 2.95 Attack Speed 2.87
Damage 172 - 350 Damage 174 - 351 Damage 170- 347
Wound 25.78%Wound 25.78%Wound 25.78%

Second set of VK's are all experimented for max speed on final combine.

Conclusions thus far.
It really doesnt matter if you max speed or damage on your componet. The final DPS will be nearly identical anyway.
If you want to max DPS then fully experimented damage on the final combine will get you there.
Have noticed I am getting more amazings, but also got more moderates, a failure and a crit failure on experiment. First crit fail exp since I mastered.

my stats are a bit different of course (resources) but i started on VKs to and did a similar 3-tierd experiment and also came to the same findings....now to start all the ranged components argh
