Why the "object created by field" is not filled by the creator of the schematic and instead by the owner of the factory is absurd. Before that field was left blank, and everyone had guns created by _________. Now instead of a blank, we get our girlfriend's character's names on our guns. Again, either do it right, or just don't do it SOE.

Why do something halfway and get it wrong when you can screw it up
completely?

I have my factories on my alt's lots and what I noticed is that crates have my alt's name for object creator but the items themselves (weapons/components) have my name so it's not a problem...

It might be putting your name on the items when you pull them out of the crate, or it might have been a one-time thing to give every item an object creator tag. My crates of pet-stims have their creator listed, but the one I had uncrated says it was made by me. I didn't try pulling more out to see if it does anything different.

Pre-patch crates will list the factory owner as the creator on the crate. Once you pull the item from the crate, it will list the schematic owner.

Post-patch crates will list the factory owner as the creator on the crate *and* on the item itself once you pull it out of the crate.

Huge pain, I'm moving two factories back onto my lots that are dedicated to final products only, now.
