If you're lazy and have lots of resources, nothing beats heavy warheads...

Course, you can always look in the profession stickies, and they usually have a FAQ for quick grinding.

Just trying to figure out what's best to grind if you want to go for some of the force sensitive skills.

I'm lucky and still have tailor. I make cartridge belts. max out xp by macro in about 35 minutes and use roughly 20k polymer, 23k steel per maxout.

Why lazy? Is it a bad resource/xp ratio?

well, most WS consider it lazy. . . it a lot of xp for a little work, but it takes a lot of money and resources

Heavy Warheads give 735 xp in practice mode. Using an in-game macro I can max out 120K WS xp in about 33 minutes. Even with that it will take you weeks to finish the four FS crafting branches. The problem with Heavy Warheads is that you need six different resources, three of them specific named resources (thoranium steel, skevon gas and hydron-3 inert gas, plus radioative, polymer and generic metal).

I'm not sure what the other poster meant by 'lazy'. I ground out MWS with projecitle rifle barrels (no macro, either). I took my time because I was still collecting the required resources for WS, so it took me about four months to finish. But to finish the FS crafting branches, you basically have to 'master' WS 30+ times. I don't feel like grinding that many PRBs, so I went with HWMs. I was doing HWMs without a macro at first, but once I tried it with a macro it was soooo much nicer (not necessarily a lot faster though). Using a macro reduces a lot of the clicking between crafting stages, thus sparing your wrists and your mouse.

Ah, okay. I'd agree that grinding HWM just to master WS is kinda lazy. But for FS crafting they're a necessity, imo.

I agree.. I got about 1/2 way through the novice box and gave up. I have put in my dues too long to grind out WS over and over again. Plus I have +25 Assembly and +20 exp, in a research center it's almost as good as FS anyway.
