Hello guys, im not a weaponsmith, never been a crafter before in all my playing time. I was wondering if someone here could take the time and explain to me what exacly is the differance between a "yellow" DE-10 barrel and a "white" one. Also how much extra does 1 point of damage on a krayt tissue effect in reality once the weapon is done. ( example : how much more damage will a pistol that was created with 31 max damage tissues have more the same pistol created with 30 max damage. considering both great success on all crafting parts )

Yes, yellow barrels are ALWAYS better then white ones. Yellow barrels indicate "rare" like any other drop that is yellow labelled. The most common difference is higher damage and better range mods, but it's been known to affect Wound % and Speed also.

No-one knows the difference between white and yellow DE-10 barrels because the bonus stats on the yellows are hidden.

Easy way to work out how Krayt tissue will effect weapon outcome is to add the Krayt mod to what can be crafted with normal power handlers.

Example. Scout Blaster with normal advanced power handlers maybe 154 max damage (depending on server and resourses)

With a +31 tissue and the same resourses this will be 185 max damage.Same rule can be applied for the speed modifier

Thank you for the info. I hear "yellow" barrels are somehow better then white ones, has this been confimred or tested by any weaponsmith before?

ive made 20 de-10 in 2 days with various tissues ..feel free to mail me any questions

also out of 9 yellow barrels only 3 really stood out. all had slightly higher damage when made but one barrel knocked a full second off speed another gave a 58% wound chance and another gave the pistol a +89 ideal range mod
