Hey

I just got a second account and am gonna work it to weapon smith, but in the time to do that what resources should i be stock piling? at the moment theres some ostrine ore on my server (eclipse) with OQ 995, and was told to get lots of that, what else should i be getting?

Pretty much any kind of metal with good stats you want to store up (especially the stuff with high OQ/CD totals). Just go to www.swgcraft.com and check out all of the weaponsmith schematics and make a list of anything that is specifically called for (ex: Duralloy Steel instead of just 'Steel' in a schematic).

And then start grinding away.

I am seeing alot of people getting multiple accounts (including myself), especially for WS. I think the devs wanted us to be more dependant on each other by limiting 1 character per galaxy. Maybe they knew at least a few of us would get multiple accounts. I guess either way it works out for them.

well from novice weaponsmith im griding projectile pistol barells until i get fire arms 1. just need to get more steel =/

are certain looted parts better then anything that can be made by hand? if so what are they.

The parts that I regularly buy are the High Caliber Projectile Pistol Barrels( their min damage is better than usual, but the max is a bit less), and the Form Fitted Weapon Stocks(no increased HAM costs). I also tend to buu the Bile Soaked rancor teeth and the the normal rancor teeth if the damage is over 5/50. Get the teeth for free if you can but I wouldn't pay more than 500 cr for them as I typically sell the swords made with them for 1000 cr. Ahh and there are the Nightsister Vibro Motors that are very good as well. Not much else I can think of ATM.

in the sticky threads is a brilliant list of all parts/enhanbcements and the stats that made vs looted and how they compare.

Check it out - its invaluable when you are starting out
