I did post it on the trade forums but no one is helping so i figured that since WS use this stuff they would know how much it'd be worth

All depends on how old the spawn is, what other spawns of the gemstone there have been, etc. Look up Weaponsmiths on your server using the sticky at the top and ask them if you aren't getting a response on the forums.

Also makes a difference what type of gemstone it is ie vertex crystalline, or greendiamond crystalline, etc.... and actually a better profession to ask would likely be the Armor smiths, as they use mass amounts in their armor.
