I've seen silver scopes on the FWG5s, and have seen mention on other posts (FAQs) about different kinds of scopes. What are these scopes? I know the plain scope that I create shows up black on the FWG5, I'm missing something...

Oh yeah, and while I'm thinking about it, what is up with visible muzzles? I've pulled pistol barrels from crates and crafted weapons and never saw a difference, are these looted muzzles?

There is a dropdown at the final build screen when you make the scope, there are I think 6 or more types of scopes, one is a silver short type scope. Same goes with Barrels, and only certain barrels show on certain weapons. Somewhere around here is a faq with what will show up on what weapon.

OMG I feel soooooo dumb. I've been a WS for a year and I never noticed that. I'm gonna go crawl under a rock, thanks for the quick response...

For reasons I've been unable to determine, though, Featherweight FWG5s don't show scopes. I don't know if this applies to regular FWG5s as well, since I haven't made one in a while, but I used to hand craft FWGs with silver scopes on them (they look nice) and when making Gorax Featherweights I've tried to do the same to no avail. They just won't show up anymore. =(

That's a Type 6 Scope.

Not all weapons will show a visible muzzle either. Check to make sure that the one you're trying to make willin fact show a visible muzzle. I know for a fact that the fwg5 is not one of those. I posted a link in the FAQ about which ones will and won't show them if you need a reference.

The fwg5 used to show a scope, this was patched a long time ago i think. Around the time krayt fwg5's with 1.1 speed were the best and then were patched so u cant make krayt fwg5's anymore

I made a nice gorax enhaced FWG5 with a scope that was visable just a few days ago... that sucker was about 231 max damage also before slice. Got it on my workshop display until I slice it.

The scope is still visable. I just made one like last week to see how I do on them, and the scope shows.
