Making the Scythe
Now you have a Scythe Schematic. It has TWO charges. That's all you get. 2 per customer. Bring it on over to your favorite Master Weaponsmith.
Components Required to make Scythe
Carbonite Steel (Shock Resistance)
Phrik Aluminum (Shock Resistance)
Two Identical Geonosian Sword Cores (I will be making a Geonosian F.A.Q. later, in which I will address cores in more detail.)
Two Identical Geonosian Sword Cores (I will be making a Geonosian F.A.Q. later, in which I will address cores in more detail.)
Methods for getting Geonosian Sword Cores:
Easiest Method - Loot the standard ones off of Geonosians in the cave. They have 25-25 damage.
Harder Method (Makes much better cores!) - Find a Geonosian Sword Core schematic from a Geonosian.
Components Required to make Geonosian Sword Cores
Neutronium Steel (Unit Toughness)
1 Power Core
1 optional Core Enhancing Agent
1 Power Core
1 optional Core Enhancing Agent
NOTE: Since you need two identical sword cores for a Scythe you will need THREE identical Power Cores due to one being taken to make the factory schematic (and enhancing agents should you choose to use them.)
This info came from the Swordsman forum and was created by Rigor Mortis.

A bit of input - Sometimes you can loot sword cores that can beat out most crafted ones. I've seen +41 min, +68 max, -0.64 sword cores, in comparison, the average crafted one is -0.5 speed, +40 min/max, or +40 min/+60 max with yellow cubes and agents. (Rare cubes go up to 20 damage, agents can go up this high as well). Depending on how good your WS is, you might want to get him/her to give you the stats on their cores, and see if you can loot higher. (This is, of course, if you *really* care on that extra 10 damage - usually the only big difference is looted cores have much better ideal ranges (+15 or so, compared to the +4 or +5 a crafted core gives.)
Good luck!
