Thread: so then , what are we meant todo till may5th ?

what are we exactly meant todo for the next few weeks , im not quite sure .
surely they dont expect us to keep on crafting only to find come patch day that all our stock is inferior to what can be made postCU ,
or are we just meant to assume that come patch day they will have conversion sorted and continue to craft and maybe prepare components ect for that day to arrive ?
i just feel lost atm despite the horrible changes comming our way , i could grin and bear it and get on with the game if i was comfotable that all my work in the next few weeks and also prior to today will still be relivant come may 5th , surely they dont expect us to just sit and pay them £15 while we wait for there patch ?
has there been any offical word that the conversions will be tweaked to balance exactly the postCU components and the converted ones by the time patch day hits???

I'm taking a small vacation from smithing...I have enough on my vendors to hold through for quite some time...as for enhanced weapons, once what's on the vendors go those will have to wait. I figure sales are going to trickle to nothing just before the CU anyways.

Test. Please, test. Don't craft anything until after the CU goes live, becuase it may be a waste, test until then as they tweak it. As a smuggler, I can only hope that there is still alot of tweaking to be done, since slicing is very very broken right know. %'s are innaccurate, so don't rely on those. If you see a slice, do that actual math and you'll see it too.

My suggestion is:
Drop merchent.
Buy Components,
Buy Resource Kits,
Buy resources for base level components...anybody got any high UT metal?
Make schems just in case.
Grind FS.. need to unlock to have a combat toon

Ive stopped crafting for the time being. I am mining some UT 1000 Iron atm too though.
Whether or not I resume crafting after the CU will depend on the CU itself. If we get a level system as on TC then I will cancel my accounts.
I see no fun in just crafting generic weaponry. If indeed the damage taken and the damage inflicted is governed by a players level I see no future in crafting or even playing.
fingers crossed SOE see the light and cancel the CU, I dont want to quit, but i dont want to play this new SWG either
