Dunno about caps for damage but I kept hitting the Cap for wound chance and every exp point spent would get a repeat of the message

looks like pistols is around 908. But it is the DPS cap I need to find out. I would guess 300DPS is the absolute max.

I was doing some experimenting last night on TC-Chilastra and hit a speed cap on FWG5's, It was about 1.73 speed.

I think you are right about that. Our carbineer corespondent converted a bunch of carbines on Chilestra test server and the very low speed carbines (Like 1.7 speed with slice) converted to around 1.73 or 1.74.

I crafted a Gaffi with some 164 dmg bones and got the stat cap error message at around 415 dmg max but somehow I got 3 moderates toward the end and it only ended up around 360max.

Crafted a PH with 237 dmg acklay bones, hit the cap at 1184 dmg
... suck ass
